The team of ophthalmologists at CMC Ophta Léman treat all diseases related to the retina. Treatments for AMD (age-related macular degeneration), retinal vascular events, diabetic retinopathy, and severe myopia are carried out by medical teams

The centre benefits from a latest generation technical platform and the most advanced imaging (retinophotography, OCT, angiography). This allows for diagnosis to take place efficiently within the appointment itself.

Treatments for these retinal diseases are carried out directly in the centre by laser (ARGON, YAG, SLT).

Furthermore, we have a network of retinologist colleagues based in Lausanne (Jules Gonin Hospital), as well as in Valais. As a result, ophthalmologists work and collaborate as a team for the most complex cases and diagnoses.
